We want to learn what works and then decide what will work for us and our lifestyle and desires. Get to bed on time so you have time in the morning before everyone gets to you. This helps to build the base of your habits and day. Meditation is good for everyone. Research shows how beneficial it is for you physically and mentally. So why do so many people not do it? We ADHD adults are not dragging our heels. If you love or are interested in something, pursue it and explore it. All I had going for me was a love of their music and a passion for telling others about it. If I try to move too early on something, it takes me longer to accomplish the same thing. I usually pack my suitcase on the morning I leave for a trip. It takes me about 45 minutes, and I forget only one or two things.

It started with a sharp knock on the door. A glance at the clock confirmed what we somehow already knew. We overslept. Behind the knocking door were the girls down the street who I drive to school daily. Today, we opened the door asked them to wake their older sister and get a ride. Then we went into overdrive.
